Hi! My name is Jeff and I'm a Marine Corps Veteran. I fought in the Gulf War. I have been diagnosed with PTSD and Physical Disabilities as well. I was incarcerated for just over 27 years and have been out for 4 and a half years now. I received little to No help from service organizations, but I reached out to other incarcerated Vets and I was able to file for a service connected disabilities. I'm now 100% P & T service connected. I own my own home and live alone. It's not easy some days and I do get depressed. I have a Husky Named Mika and she is my best friend. I also have another Vet training a service dog for me right now. She's a black Lab and Her Name is Storm. If I didn't have these animals I would be in trouble. Having shared all this I really glad that I found this blog because it will help me be a better and more knowledgeable dog owner. Thank You.
